About this event!

Speaking to the community, there's a lot of uncertainty around how to begin in bug bounties. Shubham will be presenting the first part of Bug Bounty Basics, a series of presentations that aim to provide the Sydney bug bounty community with the fundamental knowledge required to get started in bug bounties.

In this Bug Bounty Basics session, we'll discuss reconnaissance and how to think about it in the context of offensive security and bug bounties. After we establish a basic conceptual framework, we will discuss the different tooling you can use to perform reconnaissance on a bug bounty target with open-source tools and examples. Slides will be shared after the presentation.

Shubs will be giving this presentation to the community, and the slides will be available after the talk.

We really look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, we'll be organising some food (pizza) and soft drinks for the event.

The event is from 7PM to 8PM on Oct 4th (Friday), but we will be going out for drinks after at a nearby pub.

This session will be held at UTS Sydney Building 11: CB11.04.400
