This event is held by the Meta4sec community, one of the largest cybersecurity communities in Indonesia, especially focused on Bug Bounty. Meta4sec organizes an annual hacking meetup, and this year marks the 4th edition of the event. In this 4th meetup, we’ll be diving deep into Browser Security Hacking and Open Source Security Tactics. From what I’ve seen, there aren’t many browser security researchers on HackerOne.
Through this event, we hope to inspire and educate Indonesian bug hunters to explore browser security and start finding vulnerabilities in browser programs on HackerOne, such as Brave, The Browser Company (NYC), and others. This could help HackerOne grow as a more well-rounded bug bounty platform, with researchers from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, not only Web/App/API/Mobile security researcher, but also browser security researcher.
