About this event!

It's been a while! We've got an interesting talk this time from Swaroop Yermalkar, a cybersecurity professional with more than a decade of experience based in Sydney. He is the author of "Learning iOS Penetration Testing", and also leads the OWASP iGoat open-source project.

In this talk, you’ll learn how to get started with iOS app security using real-world case studies and practical examples. We’ll cover common tools and setup used in mobile security testing, including Frida, Burp Suite, and more. You’ll also see how AI can help speed up iOS app security research and testing workflows.

We're starting at 6pm on the 30th of June (Tuesday), and will go until 8pm, with the talk finishing before that. We will have some time for Q&A, and socialising after the talk is over.

This talk is located at UNSW's City campus, located at 210 George Street, Sydney, 2000 - we are in Room 504.
